ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER - 'BETRAYED IN THE OCTAGON" LP $15
"Note that orders will not begin shipping until 3/22/09 "Oneohtrix Point Never is Daniel Lopatin's project of polysynth epic electronic sound. Cascading melodies, holistic drones, and folding tones combine to create a dichotomy of sound that reflects on the organic discovery of our nature and the infinite possibilities within our enclosed human systems. Betrayed in the Octagon is a frozen fantasy, a liminal record that brings to mind caves and other hidden places where life started billions of years ago. OPN is a lost soul from the poysynth epoch giving a nod to the old masters while moving trough the systems of 21st century life and reflecting them in the pure beauty of total electronic moving sound. Originally released as a cassette on Deception Island in 2007, Octagon was the first OPN release. NFP is proud to bring it back re-sequenced and re-mastered for vinyl as the first OPN LP. Artwork by Chris Madak. Limited to 300 copies." -No Fun ProductionsINFINITY WINDOW - 'ARTIFICIAL MIDNIGHT' LP $15
"New York synth duo Infinity Window have been crafting their game for well over a year without much documentation. Comprised of Dan Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) and Taylor Richardson (Prehistoric Blackout), this LP shows them at the pinnacle of self-realization. Equally influenced by John Carpenter and the Taj Mahal Travellers, they create traveling music; music that has the power to transport and overwhelm the listener with vibes outside of those presently available to them. The A-side consists of two tracks, both clouded in a heavy haze of fog, dark and heavy though their clarity exists underneath the shroud. The B-side's lone track 'Skull Theft' is the full circle realization of the first two tracks: a light is illuminated and the fog begins to clear. Mastered by Keith Fullerton Whitman. In an edition of 500 LPs with full color pro-printed cardboard sleeves and printed labels with art by Robert Beatty (Hair Police / Burning Star Core)." -ArborWEBSITE

Przewalski’s Horses – 'Where Kahn once ruled, the Takhi roam again' C40 8€/$13
"This month we ship out a new cassette from the belgian duo Przewalski's Horses, just following their first tape release on Housecraft a couple of months ago. "Where Kahn Once Ruled, The Takhi Roam Again" has been a single-hour affair. During the Summer of 2008, Przewalski's Horses found themselves in Pommerol, a lost and tiny village in the french mountains of Drome. Equipped only with an accordion, a mandolin, and the dusty local harmonium, they fell asleep, and recorded these three acoustic, mellow and hypnotic tracks. 26 copies" HEREPayPal to dubois.constantin@gmail.com to order

Magnetic North Duo - 'Static Fields Forever' CDr (TD11)
"Debut release from Norwegian unit comprised of Sindre Bjerga on bass, electronics, tapes, and Nils Rostad on guitar. A zoned and droned out blast of a journey into other worlds yet unexplored. True mastery over sound is the goal here and these two have a stellar set of techniques helping them rise to the challenge. A mesmerizing and very rich sounding sculpture of auditory bliss. From a live set recorded in Norway, this is a project we are incredibly proud to be releasing. $7 ppd in US, please email for international rates."
Ophibre/Katchmare - 'Divided Transmissions' C40 (TD13)
"A perfectly matched split tape. First side is Ophibre from Boston. Usually known for his buzzing drone masterpieces, this one delves more into the electroacoustic vein, and finds rich treasures there. A live performance entitled "rowboat for laptop", it's a very very compelling listen, accumulating power as it goes along to its final conclusion. Second side is Katchmare, solo project of Nick Hoffman from Normal, Illinois. Anything but normal, this is a beautiful set of ghostly tones, haunted space, and electroacoustic invention. Very minimal yet very addictive. $7 ppd in US, please email for international rates."
6Magik9 - 'Solid Space' CDr (TD14)
"A lovely, meandering psychedelic record from mysterious Aussie collective headed by Michael Donnelly of the Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood. Grounded in the blues, but as filtered through a totally weirded out shamanistic sensibility, this one is a grower and a keeper. If you allow yourself into its world, it will work a magical sort of hypnotism, and unlock multiple secrets of the universe. $7 ppd in US, please email for international rates."
Enfer Boreal - 'The Way of the Masks' CDr (TD15)
"Following releases on Ikuisuus, Cut Hands, and Housecraft, France's Maxime Primault provides a massive headlong dive into the deep psych-laden abyss here. Patient ambient sounds, foreboding static drones, seismic sonic shifts, blasts of feedback, haunting melodic passages, and warped electronics all make appearances, tied together with care. When played loud, maximum escape velocity is reached in no time at all. His best work yet. $7 ppd in US, please email for international rates."

MT:025: Hunting Rituals/Grahf split C20 $6(can)/$7(us)/$8(world)
"Hunting Rituals gives us a beautifully crafted piece of his oh-so-lo-fi workings, an eventual and slowly building piece if swelling dissonant melody that could as much be made up of horns or voice as it could be forced feedback, i can't be sure. Cerebral and thought out layers of electro-acoustic crust swell the heart and warm the soul during these remaining cold days. Grahf finishes and undoes what was started with Shrines, chimes and chains, glass and steel, swirl and churn you backwards and up into a black past not owned." Limited to 30.
MT:024: Droughter - 'Crossing Swine' C20 $6(can)/$7(us)/$8(world)
"Five heated and adrenaline soaked tracks from Heavy Psyches head Kevin McEleney. Heavy vocal meditation and immense and encompasing room feedback, layered with static fizz that bubbles like escaping air from the mouths of the drowning. Like amplified brownout problems with the towns electrical system, frayed and dripping with post-industrial rust." Limited to 40.
MT:014: Teeth Collection/AeA split C30 $6(can)/$7(us)/$8(world)
"The boy's are back again. Teeth Collection presents a full frontal aural assault of cut up harsh noise, vicious and perverse towering tonality encased in sky-scaping high end, has the neighbourhood dogs circling, turning, and surrounding the house, utterly bemused. AeA assembles slow and measured burnt drones over scorched sands of electrical dissimilation, like black mould growing, entwining the walls of your mind 'till you're coughing blood." Limited to 40.

Yuko x Chino — 'Sovereign Plumed Serpent' (Stunned no. 24) $7
"Yuko x Chino is the blazing new-ish solo vehicle for Sasqrotch member Danny No/Fi. In similar fashion to his LA-based homeys, he sticks to everything that is lean & mean about metal and drone. Danny’s guitar work conjures a blizzard of white ash within our cochlea, unleashing sickly stretches of a crafted confusion that seems bound to etch a new sense into the collective mind. The concluding slice here is a live radio performance on KCSB Santa Barbara, where YxC is introduced as special guest Bright Eyes. He then proceeds to decimate with upper-register wail while Chad from The Offices of Moore & Moore drops in on drums. Woah is right… consider the airwaves taken back!" Hand numbered edition of 100 painted cdrs in color slipsleeve w/ transparent overlay in vinyl jacket; designed in energy of EARTH.
Enfer Boreal — 'The Birth of Venus' (Stunned no. 25) $7
"Whether it was in reference to the second planet from the sun or the roman god of love, this particular birth demanded frenchman Enfer Boreal to craft some of his most cosmically creamy zoners in honor. Eschewing his previous releases’ pressure-packed drones, ‘The Birth of Venus’ keeps the fuzz warm-n-light so that blissed organ & guitar lines are buoyed into the mix like silvery stratospheric beings, instruments of novel expression played by no one. Yet Enfer Boreal manages to uncover challenging peaks in the arc of his masterfully-controlled soundtrack, ensuring repeated visits to this realm of vapor." Hand numbered edition of 100 painted cdrs in color slipsleeve w/ transparent overlay in vinyl jacket; designed in energy of AIR.
Xiphiidae — 'Transresonance Formation' (Stunned no. 26) $7
"Xiphiidae is often praised around here not only for capturing us with the glowing biomechanics of his transmissions from the slippery edges of the noosphere, but also for the fact that these reports form a metasignal of nuance that few other discographies care to sustain. The Xiphiidae-antennae become conduits of deeply alien & angelic sounds, among the earliest preceptors to arrive in environments that far surpass anything resembling consensus reality. In these places, a new Resonance might be detected, sending signals through nature & patiently waiting to be heard over the entropy of the eons." Hand numbered edition of 100 painted cdrs in color slipsleeve w/ transparent overlay in vinyl jacket; designed in energy of WATER.
A.M. Shiner — 'Good Cop' (Stunned no. 27) $7
"Andrew Michael Shithead heaves bad-mannered molotovs of juvenile delinquency & stolen wattage back into the city grid, intent on waking at least one other dreamer for the fight. A post-urban portrait painted in hot shades of shrapnel and puke that is not fit for those with heart conditions, children under 13, or reptilian politicians (and their good cops)." Hand numbered edition of 100 painted cdrs in color slipsleeve w/ transparent overlay in vinyl jacket; designed in energy of FIRE.
Dead Black Arms — 'Lake Reflection Catalyst' C46 (Stunned no. 28) $7
"The last time Copenhagen’s Claus Haxholm dropped a Stunned release under his Doom Riot moniker, it caught the ear of many seeking drones of timeless celestial import. Including Julian Cope, who recently called it “guaranteed guestlist entry into the Underworld… a righteous and coherent statement of intent that should have y’all returning again and again.” So we asked Claus back, and this time he returns in Dead Black Arms garb to resume the Danish bleak-streak. ‘Lake Reflection Catalyst’ lasts half as long as the last go-around so it makes sure to burn twice as hot over dual/dueling 20+ minute sides. Listening closely, one becomes privy to a dawning horror wrought high above mirrored waters — a startling, unprepared realization and the ensuing paradox. The scene holds especial tension given Dead Black Arms’ relentlessly minimal approach to guitar and percussion drone. Often stripping back all semblance of tone in order to chase down forces of sheer electricity, Haxholm’s obsessive pursuit bares his instrument’s power to sculpt stark new forms. Yet somehow an array of subtlety is preserved in the crush of naked timbre, affirming that details are never overlooked by Denmark’s dark son." Hand numbered edition of 100 painted & pro-dubbed c46 tapes in clear shells w/ blue foil liner & double-sided color jcard; designed in energy of WATER.
Chapels — 'Last Night of the Earth' C30 (Stunned no. 29) $7
"House of Alchemy label head Adam Richards continues his ‘09 resurgence with this solo project which latched to our ears a few months back and didn’t let go. Chapels is the name of Adam’s game, and if that sounds harmless enough, let’s just reserve our thoughts until his full tidal force of moan-riddled gearing and howling industrial waves crash over us. ‘Last Night of the Earth’ comes as a refreshing blast to the mind’s rafters, departing from so many other experimental acts in its choice use of otherworldly hiss & masterful analog groans. Each tape side features two central squalls separated by sprawling transitions of environment that evoke the alternating cycles of violence & stability in gaia’s seasons. Every pass over Adam’s flickering work reveals new jewels that appear icy hard on the surface, but cracked open they spill a multihued yolk over the final night’s canvas." Numbered edition of 100 painted & pro-dubbed c30 tapes in clear shells w/ red foil liner & double-sided color jcard; designed in energy of EARTH.
Super Minerals — 'Clusters' C47 (Stunned no. 30) $7
"Finally breaching the surface of the sea after a 3-year deep dive, Super Minerals now gulp in lungfuls of oxygen only to notice its quality has changed quite a bit in the time they’ve been submerged. Fins and gills are sloughed — wings are needed now. Perched high on coastal cliffs in the fog of a polygon sunrise, ‘Clusters’ celebrates with upright piano & bells that spirit which commingles prepared herbs with the purity of raw Pacific light. For fans of Charlemagne Palestine, early Keith Jarrett, Vangelis dipped in vaseline, or John Tesh in flames." Hand numbered edition of 111 pro-dubbed & gold ink imprinted c47 tapes w/ double-sided color jcard; designed in energy of AIR.
Warm Climate — 'Edible Homes' C42 (Stunned no. 31) $7
"With an unmatchable tenacity that depends on little much else than a power source, guitar and clarinet, Seth Kasselman has spent the last nine years making some of the more truly idiosyncratic music we’ve had the pleasure of being hit with. The mere range of styles his Warm Climate project has taken on would be enough to daunt any four-piece band of fulltime songwriters. But ‘Edible Homes’ is proof that it only takes one Seth to take the piss out of a dozen genres at a swipe on these two 20 minute rollercoaster tape sides. It’s nearly impossible to describe just where exactly this ride takes the listener except that it’s a rich amalgamation of rock, classic pop, free jazz, dance, drone, tribal noise, broken toys, and psych riffing that testifies to Warm Climate’s versed knowledge of sound in its myriad of cultural forms. Like twisting the dial through the whole range of A.M./F.M. channels, not because any are tiresome, but because each one is enrapturing. All we can do is let their accumulation scoop us toward a nexus that wipes the cultural palate clean, and indispensably so." Hand numbered edition of 120 pro-dubbed & imprinted c42 tapes in lime shells w/ extended length double-sided color jcard; designed in energy of FIRE.

United Bible Studies - 'The Jonah' CD"A cornucopia of sonic delights, traversing the spectrum from delicate folk to sprawling progressive rock. Richard Youngs' progressive rock project Ilk provided the impetus for the band to make a "Prog Album" so they started with the everything-but-the-kitchen- sink opus "The Jonah". Running the gamut from delicate acoustic guitar to Sunn 0))) style doom metal & back again, it's an extraordinary feat of the imagination. Around this central track, a range of shorter tracks orbit, typically acoustic or folk-rock in nature with occasional experimental flourishes, they are characterized by glorious melodies & arrangements and a peerless array of guests. Current 93's Richard Moult provides synth & very David Tibet like vocals to opener "The Swallowing", and help out with the space folk piece "A for Andromeda". Ex Mellow Candle singer Allison O'Donnell provides vocals for several tracks, as does Sharron Kraus." HERE

Dylan Ettinger - 'Bread of the Dead' C50 $5"An interpretation of the Mexican Día de los Muertos festival recorded in abandoned house during a bitter, Indiana winter. The tape starts off with a celebratory tone, but quickly shifts to a more reserved, mournful sound. Muffled saxophones strain to be heard against a wall of intertwining, organic synthesizer tones. The primal rhythms of "Safari Zone" are replaced by sparse, pulsating electric beats reminiscent of the darkest of dubstep. Screen printed inserts by the extremely talented Kelly Filreis. The first run of these fifty tapes is available in two colors, oro y plato. Feel free to specify which color you prefer upon order or just pick up both!"
Kill and Eat - 'Green Bushes' CD $5
"Debut album from Warsaw, Indiana's Kill and Eat. A sprawling, jazz-inspired masterpiece inspired by equal parts Coltrane, Satie and Lil John. The band believes that album artwork is unnecessary, and in this case, I agree. Adding any sort of extraneous image to this album would definitely detract from its ability to create a truly unique sonic environment for the listener. One of my favorite albums released in recent memory. Professionally manufactured, green CD released without album art."

ROBE. - 'Time Dilation' CDr £5.5(UK)/£6(EU)/£6.25(World)"Massively epic new release from this American duo of stark echoing multi-instrumental drone, layers of charcoal to black emptiness that has gathered pretty solid sound throughout the releases they've unleashed last year, this is bleak, not harsh, just dark, and unrelenting for it's immense near 80 minute duration... Fans of Sunn O))), Robedoor, and occult ritual nightmares will zone into this. Limited to 150. Pro duplicated with on disc print."
HELHESTEN - 'Graphical House' CDR £5.5(UK)/£6(EU)/£6.25(World)

Most recently these guys were seen on the incredible 4x3" CDR set on Psykick Dancehall, and also a split LP last year on Upset The Rhythm. Limited to 100 with colour sleeve by the band. Limited to 100. Pro duplicated with on disc print."
AJILVSGA - 'White Crow' cassette £5.5(UK)/£6(EU)/£6.25(World)
"The consistently mind numbing crushing noise project from Nathan Young and Brad Rose (The North Sea, Digitalis) tears apart this cassette release, a black swarm of god knows what tearing your mind apart. If you dug the North Sea cassette we released last year, you should def check this shit out. Limited to 100 pro dubbed white cassettes with white cases."
PLANKTON WAT - 'Visions of Otherness' CDr £5.5(UK)/£6(EU)/£6.25(World)
"Follow-up to last years CDR on Stunned and cassette on DNT from Dewey of Eternal Tapestry/Jackie-O Motherfucker/Bloodbiker... Opening with some very nice guitar layered with relaxed vocal bursts, the following tracks have a super nice guitar vibe to them. 'In the Realm of Magic and Death' has a more distorted dark aspect to it with an almost tribal ritual drum layering. The disc climaxes with an almighty piece entitled 'Transfiguration of Infinite Nature', wailing guitars, pounding drums, droning vocals... Expect more from the Wat on BR later in the year! Limited to 200. Pro duplicated with on disc print."
BLUE SABBATH BLACK FIJI - 'Stamini Stamina' cassette £5.5(UK)/£6(EU)/£6.25(World)
"French duo of Charles and Janin, totally wild I don't really know what to say about it... crazy jams and total insanity, i'm not sure these guys sound like anyone else right now... like some kinda kraut noise destruction... Limited to 100 pro dubbed cassettes."
JAZZFINGER - 'Grief To Grind The Fire' CDr £5.5(UK)/£6(EU)/£6.25(World)
"We released this monster to almost instant sell out status back in Jan 08, and here's a second chance for all you 'Finger fans that missed out first time round. 150 copies, same artwork as the original editon but this time printed on ivory parchment paper. Pro duplicated with on disc print. Here's what we originally said about it: 'Most people should know these dudes, noisy drone from Newcastle, they've had releases on Heavy Tapes, Rebis, Gold Soundz, Alt Vinyl, Gareth Hardwicks Low Point, and a load more... It's called 'Grief to Grind the Fire' and has two new tracks totalling in at just under 65 minutes... a real brutal beauty. Bleak black and white sleeves in old school Blackest Rainbow style... 'Legs in the River' is like a swarm of black crows ascending on the earth, causing eternal darkness, and 'Burnt Hole' is like the radio transmission fucked-ness of the aftermath of this crow desolated earth'."
MECHANICAL CHILDREN - 'Blue Mouth' CDr £5.5(UK)/£6(EU)/£6.25(World)
"This was released last month, and sold out before I even listed it on the damn mailing list! The original edition was in a 12" card package, this edition is a shrunken down version printed on parchment paper featuring the same creepy artwork by David Payne of Fossils. Edition of 140. Pro duplicated with on disc print. 'Mechanical Children is Sarah Sullivan and Ben "The Touch" Jones ( two thirds of the legendary Jazzfinger ) and this is their debut album. Utilizing two knackered old drum machines ( though you'd never know it ) the duo take the listener on a molten ramble through a scrapyard of silver ghosts. The pacing and unspoken rythms of the thing are, not surprisingly, in keeping with much of the 'Finger back-catalogue, but this is a bolder, starker affair, more straight lines, black light, none of that fog, that rusting mist, no, no, no, this is more akin to the drawn-out sex-moan of a dilapidated robot-king. It's bloody awesome, and quite bonkers. Comes in an LP-sized, hand-made card sleeve, and it's of course hideously limited' - Richard Dawson aka Eyeballs."

GEL03 Driphouse - 'Sewer Mist' C44"Inspired by winter walks over manholes, "Sewer Mist" paints a landscape of a dull-gray vision New York where foul mist and dirty snow, peppered with sand and concrete are realized on a Roland Alpha Juno-1 synthesizer. Micro-loops and plenty of digital clipping are to be heard from what could be a misinterpreted, post-industrial Kosmische sound."
GEL04 Pukers - 'Born In The U.S.A.' C20
"The rumor of the Los Angeles
group Pukers quietly breaking up are still undetermined, but fortunately for those hungering for the ear-ache sounds of the duo, former Raccoo-oo-oon member Andy Spore pulled some new hits from the studio archives. Some songs vaguely sound like rehydrated covers of Led Zepplin "Stairway to Heaven" or the Beatles' "Yesterday", or even Bruce Springsteen's "Born In The U.S.A." but rest assured, these sounds are wholly unique Pukers experience."4 Mar 09
Preak Faeans - 'Wintering Out' download/pre-order"CF is very pleased to present the brand new album by PREAK FAEANS as a free download! For the super limited period of ONE MONTH ONLY from today, March 4 2009 the album will be available to download in it's entirety, ahead of an extremely limited CD release in April. Recorded spontaneously, using only the internal mic from a laptop, 'WINTERING OUT' in it's twelve new songs represents it's author's strongest work to date. Seemingly steeped in naturalist awe, with references to flora, fauna and bird life littered throughout, the songs on closer listening are nearly always rooted in the comfort and compromise of domesticity. The undertow of ambivalence toward these twin realms of home and hinterland is in turn what lends the album it's air of enigmatic, if understated, beauty." HERE

905.64: MATT HILL - 'ACIDAPE' C25
"for those unfamiliar with matt hill's work with justin wright/expo 70, get prepared for a serious goosebump laden night walk. hill entangles mile long gauzy drones and tiny looped pin pricks with acoustic plucks and dives that will take your brain straight to the aquariam after hours. these are compositions that leech onto your stomach and slowly work their way through you, eventually coming out of your back. it's a crime this dude doesn't have more released." (edition of 44)
905.62: BLOWN DOORS - 'CRYSTAL MYTHS/CRYSTAL PATHS' C30
"third 905 effort to date. recorded a month ago while rains came down outside. walls melted and all the paint was lead. connolly's strings and effects played his fingers and vocal chords while haley 360'd the synths and delay. got diseased and mutated into moisture." (edition of 33)

NP058 Kites/Earth Crown split LP
"This is a cold vision of a dark trash covered future full of Sci Fi nightmares and strange out of body experiences. This is the final Kites recording and is perhaps the strangest and most chaotic piece in the prolific discography. Annihilation synth and tape collage, cut up, sped up and dialed to oblivion. Earth Crown steps it back, slows down the pulse, lets the edges of the static curl around the drone to the breaking point, where the damage is let loose, purged out and built again. This LP is a reminder of how cold, desolate, and haunting life can be. Silkscreened by Shawn Reed, Art by Kites and Earth Crown."
NP058 Peaking Lights - 'Imaginary Falcons' LP
"This is the debut full length LP by Madison Wisconsin's Peaking Lights. Members Indra Dunis (Numbers/Rah Dunes) and Aaron Coyes (Rah Dunes) created a stunner that's full of hypnotic analog electronics, pulsing drum sounds, perfectly somber pop layered keys, blown psych guitar, and Indra's warm drifting vocals. This record is all its own, everything it needs to be, and it won't disappoint any expectations of its harmony and beauty. Groovy, spacey, heartfelt music for a new age. Art work and silkscreen by Shawn Reed."
NP069 Yves/Son/Ace - 'Cold Showers' C28
"Yves/Son/Ace is a weird loner vibe (mem. of Factums, Love Tan etc), this cassette rips alot different then the upcomming LP on Night-People which is focused way more around the deconstruction of punked out drum machine pop, and drugged out psych electronics. Cold Showers is a return to a premordial place, dark caverns of synth muck, cold feelings, and drugged hulicinations. One of the strangest releases Night-People has released, which has us siked for sure. Deep and lost. Art by SDReed and Yves."
NP068 Peaking Lights - 'Two for Ceremony' C15
"Another killer release by Night-People's favorite group, Madison WI's Peaking Lights. Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis cut this session for a late 08 west coast tour with Wet Hair, and it rips on in that beautifully dreamy, sparkling synth layered style of haunted electronics, dubed out organ beats, and cascading washes of psych blown guitar fuzz that is only Peaking Lights. Art by SDReed."
NP067 Nautilus - 'Big Shadow' C25
"Nautilus is NYC based muscian and artist Heidi Diehl's (Time-Life, WWVV etc) solo musical outlet. Airy landscapes of droning, vibranting, glacial subtlety, and atmopsheric instuermantls blend with decaying walls of sounds, none harsh or overpowering, all flowing in and out of each other in harmony. Voiced over the land, a symetry and wide vision of an endless horizon, drifting, falling and climbing, finding the way and loosing it again. Art by SDReed."
NP066 The Savage Young Taterbug - 'Boys of the Feather' C20
"Couldn't be more excited about this one, first offering from the smoked out styles of Iowa City's very own Savage Young Taterbug. Teenage road warrior, dead head punk, perma triped wanderer, Taterbug lays down his tape collaged world of free flowing Americana psych bliss. Little bells, dustbowl ballad guitars, stand by me youth cult dreams, and Manson family mind fucks, its all here, even hope for a better tomorrow and a positive spirit for today which can say alot in these droned out wasted times. Let the light inside yr skull. Artwork by SDREED."
NP065 XRay Eyeballs s/t C25
"XRay Eyeballs is OJ and Carly (from NYC rockers Golden Triangle) new drum machine driven dark punk project. Bathed in reverb, low fi sheen, and weirdo grit, XRay Eyeballs sounds like two drifter kids covered in makeup and glitter trying to escape a dead city skyline proclaiming there love for each other as the world just passes them by. Creeped out and charming all at once. If the world died but the songs kept playing. Artwork by SDREED."
NP063 Trash Dog - 'Namaste' C15
"Another blast of scummy low fi thrash/hardcore sludge from Iowa City’s Trash Dog, definitely there best release to date. The quality on this one is an all around step up, short and brutal, with some drifting riff driven annihilation feedback purge finding its way onto the B side. Rolling with a deep lineup of Gretchen, Witscher, Garbes, and Miller, this ultra limited release from fall of 08 needed to find its way around again. Lost mind, fucked life, void gang, shit and failure anthems. Artwork by RGarbes."
NP062 Jeans Wilder - 'Antiques' C34
"Jeans Wilder is new loner fuzz under the rug bedroom pop from San Diego that sits both on the sunny side and under the night time. Nostalgic, hazy, real pretty and low key, this one shines when it needs to for sure. Hushed melodies abound and peak through the weird fog for a little bit of glory in the sun when the feeling is suited. Play at night on your headphones, thinking about lost love, abandoned dreams, and what’s next. Artwork by SDREED."
NP061 Blessure Grave - 'Unknown Blessure' C26
"Blessure Grave is new blood San Diego folk, goth, post punk, drawing resonance to alot that has come before but they keep it fresh and interesting. A lot of good repetitive hooks on this one with some bleak winter hell, frozen world, dead heart vibes makes for a dark listen. Blessure Grave must have spent some time in the colder northern wastes of the American vastness before ending up in Southern Cal. Tons of output from this prolific group on the horizon, keep yr ears open. Artwork by SDREED."

ANTIQUE BROTHERS - 'SEASON'S FEAST' CS (NNF156)
"bi-coastal brother band ANTIQUE BROS trim the fat but keep the table regal on this heavy, adventurous C34 of shapeshifting psych moods. easily the high watermark in their already solid discog. edition of 100."
PEAKING LIGHTS - 'IMAGINARY FALCONS' CS (NNF157)
"another wisconsin band that's been blowing our mind lately. Aaron & Indra lingered in LA for 3 shows last November, all of which slowburned our faces off, and this is their brand new full-length, totally one of 2009's PERFECT albums thus far. very honored to get to handle the cassette edition of this classic. LP format is available from Shawn & Co. at Night People."

ARBOR66 NOISE NOMADS - 'TONE DEAF' 2xC20+ZINE $10
"Total Western Mass scum. Jeff Hartford (Grey Skull, Bonescraper) destroys all sonic barriers; forty minutes of harsh, sweating electronics and acoustic rampage straight from the gutter. Hartford always leaves the audience guessing, whether it is his cut up garbage sources, contact mic’d gurgles or hairwhips, the end result is guaranteed to be something physical. The truth lies somewhere within the mess of cables and the stack of amps; they must be destroyed to uncover it." In an edition of 100 double tape sets with printed labels and a zine housed in a 7” reel to reel box with full color paste on by
NN.
ARBOR86 WORK/DEATH - 'RUPTURAL STRICTURES' C20 $6
"Providence’s Scott Reber, has been recording under the Work/Death moniker for years, yet no two releases sound the same. Progression is key to W/D, never staying stuck in the same zone for too long, but consistently creating dense, focus compositions. “Ruptural Strictures” combines acoustic piano and string work reminiscent of Lucier, layered densely, creating textured and meaningful drones." In an edition of 100 tapes with full color cardstock covers and printed labels.

GRM013: TRIPTYCH TRENCHER – ‘HALLWAY FOR CHRONIC LIARS’ mini CDr $7(USA)/$8(CAN+MEX)/$9(WORLD) “One of the final recordings from inter-media artisan Carl Annarummo's Triptych Trencher project. Meticulously composed sound collage and noise novella. Equal parts oscillator spit, factory floor custodial work, prank calls to someone's grandma, and fluttering something-riffage. If you enjoyed the "Rival Sentinals" cassette on ESR, here is the next step in your journey. This jet only lands on dirt runways.” White mini cd-rs inside a tri-fold laserprint/screenprint-combo cardstock jacket with inserts, inside a resealable plastic sleeve. Hand-numbered edition of 48. GRM016: ISRAELI INTELLIGENCE – ‘BUFFALO HUMP, MOON FACE, THIN SKIN’ C20 $7(USA)/$8(CAN+MEX)/$9(WORLD)

”Malformed and hyperactive harsh noise from the LBC. Furious, bludgeoning vocal and 'tronic hysteria, like a boiling tea kettle full of piss and vinegar. A-side is all frantic loogies and crunch, whereas the B-side is an overbearing brick wall that will give your teeth that tinfoil-feeling. Not unlike an American adolescent Masonna, under the influence of candy, or drugs. But probably both.” White cassettes with b&w cardstock inserts and screenprinted labels. Hand-numbered edition of 50.GRM017: VESTIGIAL LIMB – ‘DIVINE WIND’ C40 $7(USA)/$8(CAN+MEX)/$9(WORLD)
”A new forty minutes worth of prayers to the reaper from Kentucky spectre Vestigial Limb. The first side shows a new direction for the project with one dense and smoldering dynamic burn tunnel, slowly consumed by undead tone. Side B returns to the traditional Limb mixture of harsh snarl and gnash crossbred with sick dog electronics. The gust of air that rushes in after the tomb has been penetrated.” Transparent red cassettes with 2-color screenprinted labels and a red cardstock insert. Hand-numbered edition of 40.
